Kasetsart University (KU) was established as the first agricultural university committed to creating and developing human resources and to become an important force in agricultural development. Despite its origin and specialized area, for nearly 100 years, KU has progressed to become a research university in the nation, prioritizing the integration of research and scholarly work across multiple academic areas (i.e. agricultural science, science and technology, social sciences and humanities).
